PureDigital ( the startup I joined in May ) is NOT what I had hoped it would be. The way the company works is toxic. This is not a group of highly-energetic highly-talented people working hard to accomplish a common goal. The vibe is as corporate as any Dilbert strip. This is not the startup I was looking for.
On top of all of the other problems, the people the company needs most - the people who get things done - are leaving. The lead engineer on my team left a month ago, leaving a huge gap. The CFO suddenly left 3 weeks ago. Our #2 networking/server guy is leaving at this end of this week. This means, for a variety of reasons, it's hard to accomplish anything around here.
Last week management announced a re-org.
It's time to go.
